Tell us something unique about your business.
“I love working with my clients, handling every detail of the home buying process from beginning to end. Communication and really getting to know my clients and what they are looking for is very important to me. I may be new to the business, but the personal touch I give to each client and my integrity will make any transaction seamless.”
Give us a few tips for finding work/life balance.
“If I don’t have time for a full workout during the day, I take 15 to 20 minutes to do yoga poses after work to help unwind. I also try to spend time with my family in the evenings by sitting down at the table for dinner and taking SkyRocket for a relaxing walk on The Strand where he often stops to just watch the ocean. While traveling with friends recently, we came up with a fun rule that while eating, we talk—no phones. My last thought to this question is a quote that I live by: ‘It’s healthier to be with people than behind a computer.’”
Why does your industry appeal to you?
“I love every aspect of real estate—from architectural design to interior decorating to landscaping. Meeting and working with people is also extremely important to me. Listening to—and learning—what someone wants or needs in order to find their dream home is very rewarding. I have always enjoyed helping people, and what better way than assisting them through the process of finding the perfect property.”
How do you give back to your community?
“Anything from donating my time to various charities, especially the Humane Society, to picking up rubbish on the beach during a walk in Manhattan Beach or on a trip to the Maldives. I also sponsor two children; one lives in Mexico, and the other lives in Peru. My goal is to make sure they both get a proper education so they can be anything they dream to be when they grow up.”
